Inspired by the Bōsōzoku motorcycle subculture that ran rampant in Japan during the 80's and 90's.

The streets were full of loud badass bikes, fully tricked out and modified with with mufflers chopped off.

They were commanded by helmet-less dudes wreaking havoc in the streets. They would often wear leather jackets with embroidered club or gang logos, or military inspired gear, which happens to be my other muse at the moment. They would also wear full leather jumpsuits. Let me say that again. FULL LEATHER JUMPSUIT. I mean come on, how extremely rad is that?

Making a leather jump suit is definitely on my list of things to make at some point in my lifetime. Stay tuned... :) In the meantime, I guess I should talk about this jacket. (Which you may have figured out by now from reading our other listings. I hate talking about the things I make. Well here it goes: made out of the softest lamb leather that we could find. Think butter. No it doesn't taste like butter, if feels like butter. Well, not like melted butter because it becomes a liquid, and not butter in the fridge, cause that is hard. More like room temperature butter I guess?

The cool thing about this jacket is that the pattern we made was inspired from a vintage, made in Japan jacket from the 60's or 70's. On the lapel is a combination of medallions and found objects that we have collected from all over the world and put on this jacket. Stating the obvious, there are pockets with zippers and buckles.
